Storytelling is an ancient and essential human tradition. Storytelling is how we share ourselves with other people or even examine our own thinking. “Any Little Thing” employs the power of stories and drama to examine the life of one black man as he struggles with food insecurity, money troubles and family discord during the time of Covid. By witnessing his stories, we offer a chance to view our own. Reflecting on these stories we can begin to tear down the hurdles to healing caused by stigma and shame. We can take these insights to build pathways to emotional health, self-care and healing.
